AOSCA and OECD Certified Hemp Seed Varieties

Bialobrzeskie is a high-yielding bast fiber variety that has historically been cultivated for its textile-grade quality across Europe. It also boasts competitive grain yields, making it a great choice for dual-purpose grain and hurd production. Over the past few years, farmers in the northern U.S. have found that Bialobrzeskie performs well on dryland acres.

Henola is a grain variety that has consistently demonstrated the highest yields across the northern tier of the United States and Canada. It is also an excellent choice for dual-purpose grain and hurd production.

Carmenecta and Enectarol were bred by Enecta in Italy. As such, they are well acclimated to latitudes across the central and southern tier of the United States. These cultivars have demonstrated consistently strong fiber yields in field and university trials across the country.

URSA GRANDE & URSA ALTA

For over a hundred years, Plant Breeding and Genetics at Cornell University has been widely recognized for the development of novel breeding approaches, gene discovery, and release of economically important cultivars. International Hemp has licensed and is commercializing two industrial hemp varieties bred by leading Cornell hemp researchers, URSA™ GRANDE (a grain and dual-purpose variety) and URSA™ ALTA (a fiber variety).
